![]() What we did not like is that the Stellar Data Recovery does not offer thumbnail preview, which is available in EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. The preview feature is necessary since the software does not offer the undo feature. Once a user clicks on the file, the software previews of its contents, in order to help a user to determine if that is actually the needed file. You can also have all of the three options, or search files using the Search option. Once the scan is finished, users can review the data according to File Type, Tree View, or Deleted List. Stellar Data Recovery provides on-screen data so users know how much of the scan has already been completed and how much more it should take. The full initial system scan took more than two hours, while, a quick scan took only a couple of minutes. How long a custom scan will take depends on the amount you are scanning. ![]() Once you select a lettered drive, a folder or a lost partition and hit scan the scan begins. If you are not able to find the location or a drive or want to recover data from RAW partitions with relative ease, you can pick from options such as other locations or cannot find a drive. Users also can pick a specific partition to scan or even a folder. We quite liked this feature to select the specific file type to scan, since it can reduce scan time. The software asked to pick the type of file and scan it. Once installed we looked at the basic recovery process. The download and installation of the utility were simple and did not take long. We tested Stellar Data Recovery Software with our test PC running Windows 10 operating system. The package recovers data from RAID and offers all premium features.
